Basic Approach
Roadmap

With the aim of creating a factory that co-exists with nature, we continuously conduct detailed environmental impact assessments to minimize our effects on the natural world. Furthermore, through the protection of indigenous species and the establishment of ecological networks both on and off our premises, we strive to realize a sustainable society that is connected to the local community.
Going forward, we will further strengthen collaboration between industry, academia, government, and local residents to conserve and restore the rich natural environment and biodiversity, and aim to expand the 30by30 Nationally Certified Sustainably Managed Natural Sites by the Ministry of the Environment.

Main initiatives
Promoting sustainable water resource utilization

AISAN INDUSTRY CZECH s.r.o. in the Czech Republic analyzed water resource usage and worked to reduce wastewater from plants. By purifying wastewater generated during production processes through evaporation and separation treatment, and reusing the purified water for toilets and other purposes, we contribute to reducing both wastewater volume and water consumption.
Expanding industry-academia-government collaboration for biodiversity conservation

We are collaborating with government agencies, educational institutions, experts, and local residents to promote preservation of the natural environment and protection of rare species.
Our Honsha Plant is collaborating with Obu City to conduct environmental education activities together with local children.
The Anjo Plant is working with Aichi Prefecture high schools to grow roselle (Hibiscus sabdariffa), to raise environmental awareness while at the same time contributing to the local community.
Employees at the Toyota Plant undertake activities such as thinning trees and maintaining promenades within the Aisan Toyota no Mori, which occupies green space leased from Toyota City since 2016. In 2022 we conducted a biological survey with experts at the Aisan Toyota no Mori, contributing to further protection of endangered species.
Expanding factory greening globally

We are promoting global expansion of factory greening.
At Aisan (Tianjin) Auto Parts Co., Ltd. in China and Aisan Industry Czech s.r.o in the Czech Republic, employees plant trees on plant premises every year. In doing so, employees deepen their understanding of co-existence with nature and develop into environmentally-minded personnel capable of taking the initiative.
