Social Contribution Activities
Basic Approach

We strive to create a more affluent and comfortable living environment in the local communities that form the basis of our business activities and employees’ daily lives.
Through activities leading to resolution of local issues, we will communicate our business and initiatives while building relationships of trust.
Promotion System
In April 2022, we established the Sustainability Committee to conduct comprehensive management reviews on the direction and appropriateness of ESG initiatives by executive management in accordance with the Sustainability Fundamental Policy. In July 2025, in order to address changes in the external environment and rationalize internal operations, we reviewed the structure and operational flow of this meeting body to render it more efficient and functional.
The Head of Human Resources Infrastructure has oversight over the Group’s social contribution activities, and the Corporate Planning Department (external relations and public relations) and General Administration Department (external relations, employees, and sports clubs) work in tandem to pursue these activities with the latter as the responsible department. Management reviews of these activities are conducted by the People Empowerment Promotion Meeting, made up of members put forward by each department, and results are conveyed to the Board of Directors via the Sustainability Committee.
Scope of activities and key initiatives
Environmental preservation activities

- Maintaining green spaces on factory sites and opening these to local communities

Each year, we cooperate with and participate in activities organized by the Kyowa Higashi Autonomous District to clean up the stream known as the Kuranagase River, in conjunction with the Clean Up the World in Obu event conducted by Obu City along waterways including the Ishigase River and Enmeiji River. On this day, we work up a sweat together with representatives from the Autonomous District, the City Hall, and the Social Welfare Council, as well as local junior high school students and residents.

We also participate every year in the Kyowa Yume-dori Cleanup (Street Cleanup), a local community activity spearheaded by Obu City.
This offers an excellent opportunity to thank the local community for their continued support.
We clean up leaves that have fallen from the ginkgo trees lining the street.

We endorse Obu City’s KENKOU Supporter Program, by having employees perform volunteer work for farmers grappling with aging and a lack of successors as part of our efforts to improve the health of employee.
We also support local farmers by devising employee cafeteria menus that use locally grown vegetables, and by holding vegetable markets (Aisan Marche).

We brought cakes and sweets, which the children ate with pleasure.

In terms of sporting activities, Aisan Long Distance Team and Aisan Racing Team not only compete, but also engage in social contribution activities.
The Aisan Long Distance Team provides instruction on how to run with ease and how to train to some 200 local elementary school students attending running classes held by Obu City and Higashiura Town.
In addition, Aisan Racing Team members participated in the Japan Football Association's “JFA Kokoro (Heart) Project – “Yume Sensei” in Toyota City,” giving lessons as “dream teachers.”
Disaster recovery support
Through donations via the Japan Platform and Japanese Red Cross, we provide disaster recovery support to those in need in Japan and also internationally. We also participate in post-disaster reconstruction activities.
